I had a talk with my career manager yesterday, he gave me the usual crap about how this appraisal is going to be.![]()
And then he showed me the feedback from my immediate boss. It was all praises but then my career manager gave me just "Meets expectations"
thats it?
When the feedback says that i have been
1. a quick learner, took up the work without any training and brought a very proactive and determined approach to the project which meant I was able to bring myself up to speed quickly..
2. Possess good problem solving skills,
3. Interacts very well with clients
4. Been a good Team Player
But still he says "I have just met the expectations"
the reason he gave for why I could not get "Exceeds expectations" is that the project I am in is not generating good revenue so the resources are not stretched to the max(meaning not utilised properly)...
Then whose fault is it if there is no work around?
When I pointed out this he said he will talk to the management to give me more challenging assignments to prove my skills.
Now I have to wait and see if he is just trying to conclude the appraisal process without my making an issue out of this or he would for once behave like my career manager and try to help me out of this shit.
So Im crossing my fingers that I should be selected for the new project ...
I am on tender hooks nowadays ... waiting for a break ...plz plz plz
